Names
Society of Southern Africa
(NSA), jointly with the Centre
for African Names Research
(CANR) at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, will be hosting the 15th
Names Congress of the NSA, which will also include the follow-up to
the two Trends in Toponymy conferences held recently in Ballarat,
Australia and Karasjohka, Norway. The conference will be held
over five days from Monday
6th to Friday 10th July 2009,
in Durban
on the
Howard
College Campus,
of
the University of KwaZulu-Natal.
Papers are invited on any aspect of Onomastics – The study of proper names.
Abstract Guidelines:

Applications should indicate whether they wish their paper to be included in the main part of the congress, or in the “Trends in Toponymy” section.
